Especial JOOLS HOLLANDS & "DJ BRITISH"

Mas que como músico, Jools Holland me despertó la curiosidad viendo su programa gracias a una antena parabólica con la que podía ver programas musicales de otras cademas,como la BBC.
Hablo del año 1992, cuando el programa empezó.
Desde sus principios el show se graba en una sola sesión sin interrupciones, con varios escenarios de modo circular con lo cual los grupos ven en primera fila las actuaciones de los otros invitados.
Por allí han pasado todas las bandas influyentes del Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y resto del mundo.
Hoy recuperaremos extractos breves pero intensos que no deben caer en el olvido.

Y en la segunda hora del programa, un Dj, un clásico, "DJ British" nos hablará de su visión musical británica desde España.

El cantante ha empezado a componer canciones de cara a lo que será el cuarto álbum de la Coldplay. Chris Martin debe de estar sintiendo muy buenas vibraciones con los nuevos temas, lo que le ha llevado a hacer estas rimbombantes declaraciones realizadas al periódico británico Daily Record.La modestia no parece encontrarse entre las virtudes que adornan a Chris Martin. El éxito que acompaña a Coldplay desde sus inicios y la repercusión alcanzada por X&Y, su tercer trabajo, han colocado al cuarteto británico como una de las bandas de rock más importantes de lo que llevamos de siglo XXI. Pero para el marido de Gwyneth Paltrow, la cosa no ha hecho más empezar.
"Creo que con el próximo disco nos convertiremos en el grupo favorito de todo el mundo. Será la mejor obra de música jamás creada", asegura un Martin que dice sentirse "muy motivado. No creo que todavía hayamos escrito la mejor canción de la historia, pero muchas veces me despierto en mitad de la noche e intento escribirla".
Los Brits
En estos días, Coldplay se encuentra en un paréntesis de su gira americana. Hoy mismo, la banda actuo en Londres en la gala de los Brit Awards, en la que partieron como uno de los favoritos con cuatro nominaciones. A este respecto, Chris Martin ha expresado su deseo de hacerse con alguno de los premios, algo que, según él, "nos haría sentirnos como en la luna. Significaría más de lo que nadie se puede imaginar".
